DeSean Jackson isn’t the reason the Eagles lost to the Cowboys on Monday night, but he’ll undoubtedly be the topic of conversation Tuesday morning.
Earlier, MDS documented the unintentional comedy/horror depending on your team allegiances, but a quick refresher for those of you who missed it (or just want to relive the fun): Midway through the second quarter, Jackson hauled in what appeared to be a 61-yard touchdown pass from Donovan McNabb. Except that he threw the ball behind him right before he crossed the goal line, which, to most people (yes, Ed, I’m looking at you) is a fumble. (Watch the video below.)
The Eagles would eventually get the ball at the one-yard line and score a play later, so it didn’t affect the outcome. But Jackson, the team’s 2008 second-round pick, has a history of doing dumb stuff, and apparently his proximity to the end zone aggravates his condition.
