5 QUESTIONS FOR ... BRIAN BILLICK
BRIAN Billick, Super Bowl-winning coach with the Ravens and now a Fox NFL analyst, is among the names being discussed as teams look to fill head-coaching vacancies. He talked with The Post's Justin Terranova about whether he plans to return to the NFL, and about the upcoming wild-card weekend.

Q: There are a lot of coaching openings, including the Jets. Are you looking to get back after a year in broadcasting?

A: It's that time of year when you start sizing up what's going on around the league. I am in a unique position, because the Ravens still owe me for a couple of years, and having a Super Bowl ring on my finger gives me a little latitude to step back and pick the right place. If the right situation comes up, then I will take a look at it.

Q: Are any of the wild-card teams capable of making a run like the Giants did last season?

A: All those lower No. 5 and 6 seeds are all very dangerous. All you need to know is that they are all favored on the road this week - and they all fall under the category of a team you wouldn't want to play. I look at Peyton Manning, who is playing as good as he has in his career, and the Colts particularly as a team that the higher seeds shouldn't want any part of.

Q: The Eagles are the only team to beat the Giants in the Meadowlands this year. Can they do it again if they beat the Vikings this week?

A: Absolutely. The advantage the Eagles have is they are used to playing the Giants, which takes away the intimidation factor.

Q: Last year the Giants turned their Week 17 performance against the Pats into a Super Bowl run. This year they played mostly reserves in the second half against Minnesota, and now have a week off. Can that hurt them?

A: You're a genius playing your starters until one of them gets injured. I think Tom Coughlin played them long enough where they got into a rhythm, but he did not overtax them, and they escaped without any major injuries.

Q: The Dolphins struggled when they lost to the Ravens in the regular season. Any reason that would change Sunday?

A: The Ravens' defense really matches up well with Miami, and it's going to be a real difficult task for the Dolphins. Miami's offensive strengths just play right into Baltimore's defensive strengths. And Baltimore is going to be able to run the ball with that three-headed monster they have in the backfield.
