NFL: WEEK 16

NFL: WEEK 16
Texans at Raiders

Matchup: Last year, the Texans jumped out to a 17-0 lead against the Raiders before having to survive a late Oakland rally to win 24-17. Raiders RB Justin Fargas has averaged 77.3 rushing yards in the past four games.

Steelers at Titans

Matchup: The Steelers clinched the AFC North crown last week for the second season in a row under coach Mike Tomlin and are aiming for their sixth consecutive victory. The Titans look to clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Bengals at Browns

Matchup: The Bengals are coming off a big victory over the Redskins, and will look to avenge a September loss to the Browns in which they turned the ball over five times and finished with just 211 total net yards.

Saints at Lions

Matchup: The Saints will play their final two games without Reggie Bush, and the Lions will do all they can to avoid an 0-16 finish. The Lions defeated the Saints in their last meeting 13-12 at the Alamodome in 2005.

Dolphins at Chiefs

Matchup: The Dolphins have won seven of their last eight games and go for their fourth consecutive road victory. Chiefs DE Tamba Hali had a season-best two sacks this past week.

Cardinals at Patriots

Matchup: The Patriots eye their 11th consecutive win in December. They have won their last four games against Arizona, which is second in the NFL in scoring, averaging 27.6 points per game this season.

49ers at Rams

Matchup: The 49ers have 48 pass plays of 20 or more yards, which ranks them second in the NFC. Rams WR Donnie Avery is second among NFC rookie receivers with 43 receptions and 578 yards. He averages 13.4 yards per catch.

Chargers at Buccaneers

Matchup: The Chargers are 4-0 at Tampa Bay and look to win their 13th consecutive game in December. The Bucs are trying to rebound from an overtime loss to Atlanta this past weekend.

Bills at Broncos

Matchup: The Broncos have won the past five straight against the Bills. Bills RB Marshawn Lynch is averaging 98.8 rushing yards in the past five games. He needs 114 to surpass last year's career high of 1,115 rushing yards.

Jets at Seahawks

Matchup: Jets RB Thomas Jones leads the AFC with 1,222 rushing yards and is averaging 103.5 in his past six outings. The two teams are playing each other for the first time since 2004.

Falcons at Vikings

Matchup: The Falcons are 6-0 when Matt Ryan has a quarterback rating of at least 100.0. Last year, the Vikings dominated them 24-3, as Minnesota rookie RB Adrian Peterson ran for 103 yards and had a 60-yard TD on a screen pass.

Eagles at Redskins

Matchup: The Redskins have lost three in a row and four of their past five, and now sit in last in the NFC East. The Eagles, on the other hand, are on their way up after winning their past three games.

Panthers at Giants

Matchup: The winner of this showdown clinches a No. 1 seed and home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs. The Giants will try to rebound from last week's loss to the Cowboys.

Packers at Bears

Matchup: Early this season, the Packers dominated the Bears, 37-3, when RB Ryan Grant rushed for 145 yards and a TD. DE Jason Hunter had a fumble recovery that he carried 54 yards to the house.
