
--The Eagles are 1-10 in their last 11 games that have been decided by seven points or less. They're 7-19 in their last 26 games decided by seven points or less.
--In their last two NFC East games against the Giants and the Redskins, the Eagles defense has been gashed for a total of 422 rushing yards and allowed a disturbing 4.7 yards per carry. In their other seven games, they've given up just 522 yards and have allowed just 3.3 yards per carry.
"(The Giants) ran the ball and they ran it well and effectively," linebacker Omar Gaither said. "They did some things that put us in bad situations, as far as the edge was concerned. They were able to rack up too many yards. I look at that and that's terrible."
Said head coach Andy Reid: "I'm not concerned other than with stopping it. I know we can do that with the people we have. As coaches, we do some things schematically to tighten up the run defense."
