Philadelphia Eagles Notes, Quotes 2008-11-29
--Running back Brian Westbrook notched only his second 100-yard rushing performance of the season, collecting 110 yards on 22 carries.

He became the eighth player in franchise history to scored four touchdowns in a game. He had two rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns. Westbrook has been hobbled by ankle and knee injuries and hasn't even been able to practice the last two weeks. He was held to 34 rushing and receiving yards in Sunday's 36-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

"Coming off of a turf game (in Baltimore), I was a little worried about him being ready this game," coach Andy Reid said. "But he actually felt better the last couple of days than he did on the longer week."

--Right guard Shawn Andrews finally returned to Philadelphia on Friday, more than a month after having back surgery in California. He hasn't been put on injured reserve yet, but that likely will happen soon because there is no chance that he'll play again this season.

"I know the flight was a bit painful for him coming back," Reid said. "That's a long flight and he did feel a little bit of that. I'm not sure exactly how far and or how close he is to being in football shape. So we'll talk to him, communicate with him and just see how he's doing, and then continue to rehab him here."

Andrews' replacement at right guard, Max Jean-Gilles, fractured his ankle in Thursday's game against the Cardinals and is out for the season. He was replaced by Nick Cole, but Reid declined to say Cole would be the starting right guard in the Eagles' next game against the New York Giants.

There's a possibility he may turn to rookie Mike McGlynn, who was inactive for Thursday's game.
