PLAYER NOTES

--RB Brian Westbrook's ankle injury isn't as serious as initially feared. Coach Andy Reid has listed him as "day to day" and hasn't ruled him out of Sunday night's game in Chicago.

--WR Hank Baskett had a career-high eight catches against the Steelers. Baskett was in the game for 41 of 64 offensive snaps, the most of any of the team's wideouts, including rookie DeSean Jackson.

--G Shawn Andrews still is experiencing discomfort with his back. He missed the second half of the Eagles' Week 2 loss to Dallas and also Sunday's game against the Bears. His status for this week's game against the Bears is day to day.

--FB Tony Hunt is expected to play this week against the Bears after suffering a concussion early in Sunday's 15-6 win over Pittsburgh.

--QB Donovan McNabb suffered an upper chest contusion early in Sunday's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He missed a series early in the third quarter, but played the rest of the game. He is expected to play this week against Chicago.

REPORT CARD V. STEELERS

PASSING OFFENSE: B-minus -- Donovan McNabb completed his first 15 passes, but then the music died. He averaged a pitiful 3.1 yards per attempt in the second half.

RUSHING OFFENSE: C-minus - The Steelers weren't going to be easy to run against anyway. But without Brian Westbrook for the final three quarters, they finished with their fewest rushing yards (65) since Week 12 of last season.

PASS DEFENSE: A-plus -- Ben Roethlisberger is going to have nightmares about this game for a while. Jim Johnson unleashed the blitz hounds and they sacked Big Ben eight times and held him to 5.2 yards per attempt.

RUSH DEFENSE: A-plus -- Willie Parker came in to the game with two straight 100-yard rushing performances and an impressive 4.6-yard-per-carry average. He left with 20 yards on 13 carries. Eagles have held their first three opponents to 2.4 yards per carry.

SPECIAL TEAMS: A-minus -- P Sav Rocca is off to a Pro Bowl-caliber start this season. He put 3 of 5 punts inside the 10 v. Steelers and nailed another one 64 yards when Eagles were pinned deep in their own territory. Coverage units did a solid job.

COACHING: A - Jim Johnson turned up the pressure on Ben Roethlisberger, blitzing 85 percent of the time Sunday against the Steelers. The result: nine sacks, no TDs allowed for the second time in three games.
