REPORT CARD VS. BEARS

PASSING OFFENSE: B-minus -- McNabb had an OK game, completing 60 percent of his passes. But he averaged just five yards per attempt in the second half and threw one touchdown pass.

RUSHING OFFENSE: C-plus -- Numbers-wise, the Eagles did OK, rushing for 103 yards on 23 carries against the Bears, including 35 yards on a pair of end-arounds by wide receiver DeSean Jackson. But they came up woefully short late in the game when they failed three straight times to punch the ball into the end zone from the one-yard line.

PASS DEFENSE: D -- Kyle Orton, who had thrown just two touchdown passes in the Bears' first three games, heaved three against the Eagles despite being under duress most of the night.

RUSH DEFENSE: A-minus -- The Eagles came into the game ranked No. 1 against the run and lived up to that ranking, holding the Bears to 78 yards on 26 carries. Rookie Matt Forte averaged just 2.3 yards per carry against the Eagles.

SPECIAL TEAMS: C -- David Akers missed 47- and 50-yard field goals. Coverage units did a decent job on Devin Hester, though he did have a 51-yard kickoff return.

COACHING: D -- Not one of Andy Reid's better games. He failed to challenge two plays that probably would've been reversed, ran the ball just eight times in the first half, then ran it three times in a row without a pass late in the fourth quarter when the Eagles had the ball on the Chicago one with three chances to score.
